Black Talents Partners with City of Brampton to Deliver Career Readiness Workshops

May 15, 2025

Black Talents is proud to announce its partnership with the City of Brampton, offering a series of live Career Readiness Workshops at the Susan Fennell Youth Hub from May 2024 to September 2024.

Through this collaboration, Black Talents will work alongside the Youth Hub team to empower local youth with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to thrive in today’s job market. Participants will gain hands-on guidance in resume and cover letter writing, interviewpreparation, effective communication, and career development planning.

This partnership represents a shared commitment to supporting Brampton’s young people as they prepare for future opportunities and career success. By connecting Black Talents’ community-driven programming with the City’s youth services, we aim to create meaningful pathways for growth, leadership, and employment.

Founder Franklina Tawiah shared, “This collaboration is about creating access — ensuring every young person has the opportunity, resources, and mentorship to pursue their goals with confidence.”

Together, we’re building brighter futures for Brampton youth — one workshop at a time.
