Black Talents is honored to have joined the Black History Month organizing committee for the City of Brampton, collaborating with other community organizations and city staff to plan and execute a meaningful celebration of Black heritage, culture, and talent.
As part of our contributions, Black Talents sourced outstanding Black creatives to feature in the closing event held at Brampton City Hall. We were thrilled to support a spoken word performance by Lamoi Simmonds and a visual art exhibition by Kofi Frempong, whose unique paintings were on display for community members to admire and engage with.
This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to elevating Black voices and cultural expression through our platform. On our Instagram, we celebrate Black History Month by highlighting achievements, resilience, and creativity within our community. Instagram
We are inspired by how art, performance, and community converge to strengthen identity, spark conversation, and uplift every person who walks through these events. Together with our city and community partners, Black Talents remains dedicated to creating spaces where Black youth see themselves, their stories, and their capabilities reflected — and celebrated.
